In 1999, Tim Hipp opened Wellness Solutions, Inc., distributor of exercise equipment and flooring for community and college recreation/sports facilities. Over the past 18 years Wellness Solutions has grown and been blessed to serve some large institutions like the New York Mets, Washington Redskins, Howard Hughes Medical Institute, NIH, University of Michigan, The Washington Post, Toll Brothers, and many more. The theme always has been to “Help Others, Help Others,” and that continues to be the mantra today. Our outside-of-the-box approach is enhancing the unique ability of conditioning the body for good health, whether for the general, athlete, or geriatric clientele. The needs of these groups are not synonymous and demand a unique and dissimilar approach to training. Tim’s approach is to offer a wide range of equipment to meet the organization where it is with regards to fitness, strength and conditioning, as well as equipping them for future vision. For example, in 2007 Wellness Solutions was the first company to integrate lifting platforms onto the strength and conditioning floor to eliminate any chance of injury from tripping or rolling ankles on the elevated platforms, along with the ability to open the area for agility and movement drills.
In October of 2017, Tim combined his vast knowledge of Exercise Science, Kinesiology, and Biomechanics from the strength and conditioning world to answer a need for recovery. Opening the RXR3 Recovery Lounge is a direct answer to the demand of the frenetic call on life. Countless individuals, young and old, desire to be able to do more. There seems, however, to be a barrier between what they would like to do and what they can do. RXR3’s goal is to synergistic-ally overcome pain, fatigue, and poor performance so that an individual can “Help Others.” RXR3 works with individuals who desire to recover faster from an event, remove inflammation from an injury, or experience relief from a lifestyle that is sedentary. We have helped individuals who suffer from anxiety, concussions, post-surgery inflammation, acute and chronic pain. The opening of the RXR3 Recovery lounge is only the beginning of the work that we hope to do in the field of Recovery, Regeneration, and Restoration of the mind and body.
